We installed a lead plumbing flashing on a roof in Plainfield. If you've ever seen how the tops of the lead caps seem dented, the reason is kind of strange.
Solution
For whatever reasons, squirrels tend to nibble on the tops of the lead caps. However, it doesn't affect the integrity of the flashing.
