Kevin Bumstead: Carrying the Stan's Legacy

Kevin Bumstead is the President of Stan's Roofing and Siding, a company founded by his father, Stan Bumstead, in 1967. Kevin's connection to the company started early, helping Stan clean up job sites in grade school.

After high school, Kevin followed the family tradition of service and volunteered for the U.S. Army, serving as a Military Police Officer with tours in Korea, Honduras, Kansas, and the Persian Gulf War.

Returning from the Army, Kevin rejoined Stan to help grow the business from two men and one technician to two full crews. Following Stan's retirement, Kevin and his wife, Debbie (who took over the vital office role from Kevin’s mother, Helen), have expanded the company to what it is today.

The family legacy continues with the next generation. Kevin's son, Luke, is now heavily involved in the business, and his daughter, Mya, also works part-time, carrying on the tradition of quality and customer care.

An avid outdoorsman, Kevin challenges his family with rigorous hiking "vacations" out west. He is also committed to giving back to the community, coaching youth sports, and prioritizing support for Veteran and First Responder Organizations through company participation in events like the Chicagoland 9/11 Stair Climb.
