Stan’s Roofing & Siding provides a company-backed workmanship warranty on installations, along with manufacturer warranties on materials. Our workmanship warranty protects the original homeowner long-term, is transferable with adjusted terms, and is serviced by the same team that installed your project. The Stan’s Care Club helps homeowners proactively maintain their investment through inspections and documentation—but participation is never required to keep your warranty valid.

Our installation and workmanship warranty covers defects in installation or workmanship for projects completed by Stan’s Roofing & Siding, under normal wear and conditions. Coverage applies only to work performed by Stan’s Roofing & Siding.
This warranty is backed by our company—not a third party
Warranty terms may be specified by line item in your proposal
If not otherwise specified, workmanship coverage defaults to one (1) year
Repairs do not carry a workmanship warranty unless specifically stated
Full warranty terms are provided with your proposal and official warranty documentation.
When a lifetime workmanship warranty is listed in your proposal, it applies to the original homeowner for as long as they own and live in the home where the installation was completed—subject to the terms of the warranty document.

If the home is sold, the workmanship warranty may be transferred to the new homeowner
Upon transfer, workmanship coverage becomes one (1) year from the date of ownership transfer
If the property is owned by a non-individual entity (LLC, trust, association, church, etc.), workmanship coverage is five (5) years from the original installation date
This structure protects homeowners while remaining fair and transparent.
Stan’s Roofing & Siding passes through manufacturer warranties on materials used in your project. These warranties are issued and honored by the manufacturer—not by Stan’s—and coverage varies by product and system.
We regularly install products from trusted manufacturers, including:
Malarkey Roofing Products — roofing systems
James Hardie — fiber cement siding
ProVia — windows and doors
TimberTech — composite decking
AZEK — PVC decking
Manufacturer warranty terms vary by product and registration. If not specified, manufacturer coverage defaults to the manufacturer’s standard or lowest available warranty.
While full exclusions are outlined in your official warranty document, generally workmanship warranties do not cover:
Acts of God (hail, tornadoes, wind-driven rain, flooding, ice dams, etc.)
Damage caused by structural movement, settlement, or pre-existing conditions
Normal wear and tear or cosmetic changes over time
Alterations or repairs performed by third parties
Materials or components excluded by manufacturer warranty terms
If you believe there’s a workmanship-related issue:
Ensure your account is paid in full
Notify Stan’s promptly in writing after discovering the issue
Allow Stan’s the opportunity to inspect and address the concern
Our dedicated service and repair department handles warranty evaluations and service—using the same standards and accountability as our installation teams.
