Challenge

The homeowner had inquired about the issue they were having with improper drainage in one particuliar section of their home structure.  They had viewed a few other neighbors homes with similiar elevations and noticed they were the only one with a "pocket" of space on their home.

Solution

Through careful planning, the homeowner and our crew decided they would extend a wall out of the "pocket" in order to eliminate the issue and to create a look similar to that of the other neighbor's homes who weren't experiencing the same issues.  We rebuilt the wall from corner to the upper gutter edge and removed that dead pocket area altogether.  We then installed new shingles, ice and water shield, fabricated new fascia and used James Hardie siding to seal the area off.  A new gutter was also added to the existing downspout.
